Food and Drink Experiences to try in Dublin One

If you love the Dublin One area and want to find out what experiences are happening on this side of the city during the DublinTown food and drink festival then read on!

This city has a world of cuisine on both sides of the city and there’s no shortfall on the North side. To help you decide what to experiences to book or enjoy during the festival in Dublin One, here’s a quick guide.

101 Talbot – Wild Irish Game Menu – October 15 – 19

Price: €34.50

Tantalise your taste buds with a unique Wild Game Menu celebrating the best of Irish game meat sourced in Wicklow. Only available during the festival.

Bar Italia – A Taste of Rome Menu – October 14 – 20

Price: €25 – €39

One of Dublin’s most authentic Italian restaurants has created a bespoke wine-paired menu celebrating Italian cuisine from Rome during the week of the festival.

Practical Scones and Jam baking class with Camerino Bakery – October 19 

Price: €35

You will learn through demonstration how to make the perfect fluffy, flavoursome and delicious scones during this guided practical instruction with an award-winning baker. Thereafter you will then learn how to make scrumptious jam, which you can replicate at home!

Recipes will be provided on the day, plus you then get to take home the scones and jam you’ve created in your baking class! Ideal with your favourite cuppa!

Sip + Paint Club Mini Experience at The Church – October 17th

The Church is delighted to welcome back PaintClub on Thursday, October 17th at 6.30pm for a mini Paintclub where you will enjoy a short 1-hour mini Paintclub and create your one-of-a-kind art piece of Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge. All the while you’ll be enjoying delicious bar bites and Dublin’s favourite drinks!

The Vintage Teapot – Dumpling Making Workshop – October 20th

The Vintage Teapot is hosting a Dumpling Making and Tasting experience on Sunday, October 20th at 2.30pm. This is an absolute must for foodies who have always wanted to know how their sister restaurant M&L Chinese’s chefs makes all those delicious dumplings!

Vice Coffee – Best of Irish Cupping: Tasting Ireland’s Best Coffee – October 20

Join the Vice Coffee team to cup, sip & slurp a selection of the world’s finest coffees that have been roasted by some of Ireland’s best roasters. They’ll have coffees from a number of the most notable roasters in the country including 3FE, Roasted Brown, Cloud Picker, Full Circle, Calendar, SoMa, Bailie’s & more. Vice Coffee – Coffee Cocktail Masterclass  – October 16

Learn from their team of expert mixologists who will take you on a tasting journey of caffeine fuelled cocktail creations! All participants will get the opportunity to taste 3 unique coffee cocktails along with a selection of snacks from the Wigwam Brazilian Kitchen.

Yamamori Tengu – Sushi and Craft Beer Pairing  – October 17

Enjoy a delicious sushi and craft beer pairing with Yamamori Head Chef Marcus Davies and The Porterhouse Brewery. You will sip, sample, taste and match beers to freshly cut sashimi and Nigiri.
